This course is suitable for dogs aged 6 months and older, whether you’re continuing from puppy classes or starting structured training for the first time.
⭐ What Is a Life Skills Course?
Life Skills training focuses on the real-world behaviours your dog needs to thrive — not just formal “obedience commands.”
While people often search for obedience training, what most dogs truly need is practical life skills that help them cope calmly and confidently in everyday situations. It also concentrates on that amazing bond you have with your dog.
Our training uses positive reinforcement, modern science-based methods, and ethical approaches that support your dog’s emotional wellbeing as well as their behaviour.

🌳 Why Train With Us?
Our classes take place outdoors in a secure training field, providing plenty of space, natural distractions, and real-life practice opportunities. Training in the real world helps your dog learn how to generalise behaviours — something many indoor classes lack.
We keep groups small (maximum 6 dogs) to give you personalised support from an experienced Kent dog trainer and ensure a calm, positive learning environment.
Classes usually run weekly, though dates may occasionally change due to weather. We always notify you in advance.

Please ensure the following:
- Your dog is comfortable around other dogs. If you’re unsure or your dog is reactive, contact us before booking for a friendly chat. It just may mean that we need to create extra space for your dog.
- You can attend at our training field in Old Romney, Kent TN29 9SG.
