Scentwork Classes in Kent

Courses starting on the 20th January 2024 at Old Romney, 18th January online and 5th February in Dover. All courses run for for 5 weeks and are £90.00. Old Romney course is held outside, Dover course is run in a hall and the online course is done from the comfort of your own home via zoom.

Our 5 week beginners Scentwork course is the perfect starting point for you and your dog to explore the amazing world of scent.

During the 5 weeks we will tap into your dogs amazing sense of smell and harness this into a fun training activity that will have benefits in your dogs day to day life.

The course will teach your dog to identify a scent, search for that scent and indicate to you where it is.

This is an activity open to all dogs of any age from pups to older dogs who are maybe not so active but still need to give their brain a workout.

Scentwork has also been shown to have an amazing impact on the well being of anxious dogs/fearful/reactive. Scentwork really does tap into your dogs natural abilities and you get to work alongside them and watch them put that incredible nose to work.

All classes are held outside, in a secure field which means we get to train in real life conditions and have plenty of space to train.

Classes are typically held weekly but dates can change due to adverse weather conditions, should this happen you will be notified beforehand.

Is comfortable around other dogs and people, if not we can accommodate this but need to chat first.
