Cooperative care with Hollie McAuley-Jones from Invicta Dogs Training and Behaviour.

It was lovely to chat with Hollie from Invicta Dogs Training and Behaviour about all things cooperative care in the training of animals.

Although Hollie spends her time helping owners train their dogs these days, it is not where the journey started. Hollie started her career working with animals such as; parrots, wolves, bears, otters and big cats just to name a few. It is during this time that Hollie started using cooperative care with the animals and in particular a Jaguar called Loki.

We discussed how the use of cooperative care and giving animals a choice really does change the way we can train animals and this is definitely true of our dogs and how we can train them by giving them a choice.

Put the kettle on and get comfy as we did get a bit carried away and chatted for a while, we even managed to chat a little about dogs. However Loki’s and Hollie’s journey together was really worth spending time on.
