Since mid December we have taken our scentwork sessions inside and created a fun and exciting Stable Search.
We have transformed the stable in to a unique environment for the dogs to search in and we can change the layout weekly which keeps it fresh and exciting for the humans as well.
These sessions are open to anyone who has done scentwork with their dogs before or completely new to it. We use whatever scent the dog has been trained on or use food or a toy it is all down to the individual. The way it works is that we set up the search zone and the dog get to search the stable for the hidden scent/toy/food. They can jump onto the straw bales, go through the tunnels that have been created, take it at their own pace, let of some steam…but most of all have fun using that amazing nose of theirs.
