Reactivity Talk.

‘Reactivity’ – We will explore what is meant by reactivity, is it an overused label to put on dogs? We will discuss what it looks like in dogs.
Is every reactive dog fearful? This is a common thought, but is it true or could it be something else? We will look deeper into it.
Is reacting always a bad thing?

Is all stress bad? We will take a look at some different types of stress and discuss if they are all bad.What stress can do to the body. We will take a look at ways stress affects the body.


What can cause our dogs to react? We will have a look at some of the triggers, internal and external, that can cause our dogs to react.
What can we do to help?

We will look at different ways we can help our dogs that have big emotions.
Building confidence, having choice, control, agency and coping skills and why these are so important.

The talk will take place at St Marys Art Centre,59 Strand Street, Sandwich, Kent, CT13 9EX. The cost is £20.00
