Scent Event.
On Saturday we held our second scent event of 2025 in what is our Year of Scent. We headed over to our friends at Action Watersports who kindly let us use their amazing venue. Our themed event was all about protecting Lyddy of the Lake and ensuring Lyddy’s peace and quiet remained. Lyddy is a distant cousin of Nessy and no one really knows how Lyddy ended up at the lake however the press found out and headed on mass to try and capture proof.
Our amazing Dogs from the Scent Squad arrived and had to find the pesky press and clues to find all the footage taken by them. The dogs and their humans worked together to ensure no press footage was realised and that Lyddys secret is once again exactly that, a secret. The best way to get involved in our scent events is to sign up to a scentwork course and once completed you will be added to our private Scent Squad page. If your dog struggles with class environments we also offer 1-2-1 training for exactly that reason as we know that classes are not for all dogs or even us as humans. All events are shared with members first and always sell out which is why we do not advertise them.
Scentwork is such an amazing fun activity to do with your dog as it really taps into what they love doing, sniffing.
