The SkellyWAGS Community is designed for people who want to enjoy training with their dogs, but with complete flexibility.

There are no membership fees, no monthly subscriptions and no pressure to attend every week.

Instead, you simply become part of the community and book the sessions that interest you. You only pay for the activities you choose to attend.

That means one week you might join a Life Skills session, the next you could be enjoying Scentwork, followed by a Straw Bale Search, a Hoopers session, a Fun Gundog workshop or one of our seasonal events.

Training becomes something you look forward to rather than something you have to fit into your diary.

A Venue Designed With Dogs in Mind

One of the things that makes SkellyWAGS special isn’t just the training we offer—it’s the environment we train in.

Over the years we’ve created a venue where dogs can simply be dogs.

Our peaceful meadow gives dogs the space to relax, explore and settle before they begin learning. The secure training field provides the perfect setting for recall, Life Skills and confidence-building exercises, while our purpose-built Scent Shed is the perfect place to start your scent journey.

Then there are the Straw Bale Searches.

Watching a dog disappear into a maze of straw, completely absorbed in using their nose before proudly emerging having found their reward, never gets old. It’s one of those activities that reminds us why dogs love to sniff, search and solve problems.

Every area has been designed to give dogs opportunities to learn, build confidence and have fun in a calm, natural environment.

For many of our regulars, arriving at SkellyWAGS is an event in itself. Tails start wagging before they even get out of the car because they know they’re about to have an adventure.

More Than Just Dog Training

Of course, dogs learn new skills while they’re here.

They improve their recall, develop better Life Skills, grow in confidence and discover exciting new activities.

But if I’m honest, that’s only part of the story.

The real magic happens in the relationship between you and your dog.

Every session is another opportunity to communicate a little better, understand each other a little more and spend quality time together. Whether you’re searching the Scent Shed, working in the field or wandering through the meadow before class, those shared experiences build trust and strengthen your bond.

That’s something no certificate or rosette can ever replace.

Although we call it the SkellyWAGS Community, we’re certainly not an exclusive club.

There’s no secret handshake or tail wag and nobody expects you to attend every event. We’re simply a friendly group of people who love spending time with their dogs.

People encourage each other, celebrate each other’s successes and understand that every dog learns differently. Whether you’re joining us for the first time or you’ve been part of SkellyWAGS for years, you’ll always receive a warm welcome.

It’s relaxed, supportive and, most importantly, it’s fun.
